Shwetha Madhu was born in Hassan, Karnataka and settled in Bangalore. Though she was brought up by a family with no music background, She is blessed with an Angelic voice and a Great passion for music. She graduated from her high school at MGC High School in Mangalore and earned her bachelor’s BEd, BA & Master’s MA at MES college in Bangalore. Shwetha Madhu was an all rounder right from her childhood she received training for Hindustani Classical vocalist & Professional Artist from Shree Shivananda Salimat & Hindustani Classical Vocal from Ms.Vanishree Hedge and Ms.Vani Gururaj for Carnatic music. Though she concentrated on music she excelled in all her subjects and did very well in her academics. Shwetha Madhu is a Versatile Indian Playback Singer who lent her voice to many Kannada and Telugu, Tulu films. Her knowledge of South Indian languages like Kannada, Telugu, and Tamil, Tulu enables her to sing songs with originality and perfection. Shwetha Madhu is one of the leading Playback singers of the Sandalwood Industry. She has performed in several live shows in South India Flim functions and on Radio.
